Titusz Pan is a software engineer and entrepreneur in Freiburg, Germany. He is director at the ISCC Foundation and project lead of ISO/TC 46/SC 9/WG 18, the working group responsible for the International Standard Content Code (ISO 24138:2024). His open-source work on content-based identification started in 2016 and became the basis of the standard.
ISCC is a similarity-preserving code computed from a file itself: same file, same code, for anyone. The ISCC Discovery Protocol builds on that to go from content to declarations, registries and PIDs.
